Policy statement on responsible corporate governance
We, H&T Healthcare Recruitment GmbH, are committed to the responsible and ethical recruitment and placement of nursing professionals from India to Germany as part of our business activities. The following policy statement is our commitment to fair, transparent, and human rights-compliant recruitment and placement, and is based on recognized international standards and guidelines.
§ 1 Fairness and ethical practice
We are committed to fair and ethical placement and recruitment practices in accordance with the six guiding principles of the RAL quality mark “Fair Recruitment Care Germany”:
a) Written documentation for verifiability
b) No fees for the mediation process
c) Limitation of economic risk for nursing professionals
d) Transparency regarding structures, services, and costs
e) Sustainability and participation
f) Overall responsibility
§ 2 Compliance with international standards
(1) We are committed to complying with the WHO Global Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel. In particular, we undertake not to recruit in countries that are included in the current WHO health workforce support and safeguards list.
(2) We are committed to complying with international human rights standards, in particular
a) the ILO core labor standards;
b) the ILO General principles and operational guidelines for fair recruitment and definition of recruitment fees and related costs;
c) the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights;
d) and international UN human rights agreements.
§ 3 Obligation to maintain a fair cost structure
We undertake not to charge the nursing professional, either directly or indirectly, any placement fees or costs for services directly related to the placement. This is in line with the employer pays principle. We guarantee that this covers the entire service chain.
§ 4 Waiver of commitment and repayment obligations
We undertake to waive binding and repayment obligations in the placement contracts with nursing professionals, taking into account the exceptions specified in criterion 3.4 of the quality and testing regulations for the RAL quality mark “Fair Recruitment Nursing Germany.” We also undertake not to place workers in employment contracts that contain binding and repayment obligations relating to the costs of placement.
§ 5 Communication and transparency
We communicate this policy statement publicly and in a manner appropriate to the target audience. It is accessible to everyone on our website and is thus made available to all parties involved. This policy statement transparently and comprehensively outlines our commitment to fair, transparent, and human rights-compliant recruitment and placement.
